How a growing Christian movement is seeking to take control of the top sectors of American societyThe Conversation 12 OCT 2017 AT 09:46 ET
INC Christianity is led by a network of popular independent religious entrepreneurs, often referred to as apostles. They have close ties, we found, to conservative U.S. politicians, including Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry and more recently President Donald Trump.
INC Christianity is the fastest-growing Christian group in America and possibly around the world.
INC leaders have labeled them the seven mountains of culture.
These include business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, family and religion. In this form of trickle-down Christianity, they believe if Christians rise to the top of all seven mountains, society will be completely transformed.

(63,221 posts)a side of this government that I had never believed possible. I am in such despair because I feel so powerless against these people.
They are stupid, but they are united and hell bent on installing a theocracy in this nation. If we don't stop them we are doomed. We need to band together and pull this cancer out by the roots.

(26,663 posts)Really laid it all out. These zealots will be the end of us. Pence is one, and Walker, and half the House. They're insane.

(421 posts)While they are grossly outnumbered in terms of people, it scares me as how zealously they get out and vote. They don't question anything their leaders tell them, but just head to the polls and blindly vote.
Those progressives/Dems/etc who put up purity tests on progressive/liberal candidates are music to the zealots leaders' ears.

(6,043 posts)There is more Christian radio stations than any other radio stations...by a bunch. We gained two Christian radio stations just this year. None of these stations crack the top 20 arbitron ratings but I don't think it is their intent. Their control of the airwaves lie in the sheer number of stations they can own.
Look at Sinclair broadcasting and how they have grown in a relatively short period of time. You control radio and TV and you are halfway there.
Don't be fooled by the buffoonery of Palin, Cruz and Bachmann. I truly believe their trying to take over; radio, textbooks, politicians, and laws. It's not a coincidence Kim Davis has been in Romania this week.

(63,221 posts)That might not seem like much to most people, but it is a very strange thing for this city. I don't know why, but it really felt threatening to me. I never thought I would see that here.
Sorry for those of you that like that music, but I associate it with right-wing politics and ignorance.
