Why is media ignoring Trump's Alzheimers/dementia??

Today on that Republican woman's show, Nicole, at the end, someone was talking about Trump's speech today. He said he seemed to have no idea what he was reading, he was gasping for breath (I have thought this for a while,) he was having trouble even speaking, that he was obviously unhealthy.

Seven or so months ago Trump didn't recognize Giuliani, who was across the table from him. The other day, Trump insisted, even after corrected by a reporter, that he had lunch with Tillerson "last week." It was the day before.

Today, Idiot said he talked to the "President of the Virgin Islands." Um, does he know who he is??

These are a few of many situations in which Trump was confused, wandering, etc. He is obviously always gasping for breath, and he has horrible memory problems. He is getting worse from the stress. His family and friends must know this, right??

Lord, this lunatic is going to kill millions and the Repubs just want a tax cut.

are often present in early to mid-stage Alzheimer's. So it's not impossible that both things are going on simultaneously. I don't see this as an excuse for his behavior. I think we're witnessing a demonstration of the fact that these sadistic public policies of the Republican Party are a societal manifestation of severe mental derangement in the human species. And there are certainly people and institutions that are harnessing this human propensity for their own ends. The question we may live to see answered is, are the there other forces in humanity strong enough to have an effect on what happens?

He is who he has always been. The forgetfulness may be a side effect of coming down from drugs, fatigue, or a planned act to allow him an out should he get cornered by Mueller. My vote is for the last choice I speculated on.

Besides being a horrific POS, he is demented. We all knew when Regan started to lose it and now we are watching him get worse everyday. When the Moon doesn't know the Beast is sitting right in front of him and he wanders off like he had no idea where he was and Secret Service had to put him in the car.

Time for the 25th.

These are acts done in public to promote the idea that he is not responsible for criminal actions.

He may have some diminished capacity or may be taking drugs but that does not mean he is not responsible for what he has done for the past decade and right up to the present-day.

If he and his lawyers decide to negotiate his way out of justice by feigning dementia, he will be able to get some physician to sign a "note' to that effect-just as his gastroenterologist attested to his excellent health in 2016.

Con men just keep conning. Russian and other fake news is still out there.

I say let focus on achieving justice for us and our compatriots.

Yeah, they should have just let him wander.

Also, these are only the times he is caught in public. Take into account they have prepared him to go out and face his adoring fans, be "presidential". What is going on behind closed doors? He might just sit in the Oval Office all day long talking to "Jim".

Not even all conservatives.

Longtime Trump pal Roger Stone is accusing the president’s enemies of making up claims about Alzheimer’s disease — but “Young Turk” Cenk Uygur thinks that’s a ploy intended as a legal defense.

Whispers about Trump’s possible mental decline or cognitive impairment have been growing louder, and a viral video claims to show evidence the president is suffering from the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.

What we do know is that he is self absorbed, insecure about criticism, and doesn't like his job. It would be unsurprising to learn that he was nervous and opted to follow a mental distraction rather than focus on his job.

Most of us have "horrible memory problems" now that we have replaced the need with our devices. This is a guy who has been surrounded by loyal staff members and like others who have personal assistants to whom they delegate their required knowledge and memory.

Mistaking a lack of focus and disinterest in the job as illness is a refutation of the greatest tragedy of this presidency. It was not an ill man who was elected, Trump is cruel, self absorbed, narcissitic, intellectually lazy and disinterested in events and moments that are not all about him and promoting a flattering appearance of him.

point to Alzheimer's, not other varieties of dementia. Especially take note of his temper tantrums. That's an Alzheimer's indicator. His lack of insight regarding his EOs-- what the consequences are and will be-- is another Alzheimer's indicator. Trumpy's madness is PHYSIOLOGICAL, not necessarily psychological. His brain is deteriorating.

The GOP is risking total collapse of the Constitution and the economy by supporting/enabling Trumpy's erratic behavior. The entire country is heading into a panic, and the GOP is covering their eyes and ears, denying that anything at all is happening. McConnell's approval rating in Kentucky is at 18%, the GOP as a party is rated in the 20% range, and they're carrying on as if they're at the top of their game. It's all madness.

Trumpy's dismantling of the ACA WILL contribute to a market collapse. He hasn't a clue. But a market collapse is eagerly anticipated by Bannon and his Russia affiliated fascists. Trumpy is (inadvertently or otherwise) doing their bidding. And the GOP is sitting on their thumbs, scared of being primaried, scared of being attacked from the right, scared of losing control. They're cowards being led by the Coward in Chief.

This disaster would not be happening if he and the GOP Congress did not have dozens of hard right-wing billionaires financing them and cheering them on, cleverly hiding in the dark out of public view. The GOP totally defers to this group of evil people.

They don't seem to give a shit about the chaos this has brought to the general public.

Pence had to retrieve him. It's really obvious to those of us who have either had relatives with Alzheimers or dementia or cared for them as patients that Donald Trump needs a thorough examination by someone other than his buddy Dr. Feelgood.
