A new report from the New Yorkers Jane Mayer claims that President Donald Trump regularly keeps Vice President Mike Pence in his place by mocking his Christian faith.
According to Mayers sources, Trump enjoys ribbing Pence for his right-wing Christian views by portraying him as a Taliban-style fundamentalist who wants to execute all LGBT people.
During a recent conversation on gay rights, for instance, Trump allegedly pointed at Pence and said, Dont ask that guyhe wants to hang them all!
Additionally, Trump likes to ridicule Pences commitment to overturning Roe V. Wade by noting that many blue states would simply vote to legalize abortion even if the Supreme Court overturned the landmark 1973 ruling that gave every woman in the United States the right to have an abortion.

BRAD REED is the byline on this "article" which is really just a cut-and-paste of information found in the New Yorker article by Jane Mayer.
Raw Story ought to be banned here for this BS.

(384 posts)I mentioned this in BN thread on this story. You would think that Trump privately conceding on abortion, and then belittling Pence for his position on "the gays" and his faith ("did Mike make you pray?" , might move the needle a bit. However, given that the evangelicals seem to be willing to overlook everything DT says and does, this will probably have no effect.
I am hoping that the press asks Pence whether this is true, and he gives a Tillerson-esque non-answer, thereby confirming that the story is true.

(2,785 posts)it will cost Trump about 2% to 5% of his deplorable base at most. The rest of them have all convinced themselves that Trump is their god.
