(10,721 posts)I've been waiting many years for the Dems to be the forceful opposition we need them to be. To raise hell about race-based voter suppression, to not be beholden to many of the same entities as the GOP, to not miss opportunities to talk about Trump's sexual assault history while responding to media questions about Weinstein, etc, etc, etc.

I pray the democrats will get control of the House so we can begin the real investigation of Putin's puppet and start impeachment proceedings in earnest.

(10,721 posts)But his base votes. It helps that they aren't victims of voter suppression. Unless he does a 180 on civil rights, such as coming out in support of BLM or a path to citizenship, he won't lose his base.
