Trump can't adjust to having his words actually matter.

When he was a corrupt real estate mogul in New York, he could spin any bullshit that came into his mind and never have to answer for it.
The problem he is now having is that he can't seem to understand that when you are the President of The United States every word that comes out of your mouth has consequences. After a lifetime of making stuff up on the fly, lying, spinning, and spouting bullshit, it is now impossible for him to stop. This is ingrained in him and so is the habit of never letting anything be, always having to have the last word, and in some sadistic way always having to lash out and do as much damage as he can to any and all detractors.

Everyday, Trump will take the opportunity to remind us that he is mentally, emotionally, and psychologically unfit to serve as president.
