Harvey Weinstein Is in Treatment But Defiant Mogul Is 'Not Listening to Anyone,' Says Source

http://people.com/movies/harvey-weinstein-refusing-to-take-treatment-seriously/

Harvey Weinstein is getting treatment but is still defiant in the face of allegations of sexual misconduct spanning decades, a source tells PEOPLE.

“He’s not listening to anyone,” says the source.

The source says that rather checking into a residential rehab facility, Weinstein, 65, is staying at a luxury resort in Arizona and attending out-patient sessions.

While Weinstein said in a statement that he was working with therapists and planned to “deal with this issue head-on,” a second insider tells PEOPLE the movie mogul doesn’t think he needs round-clock help.

My thoughts: He needs jail more than therapy. I'm also not surprised he's "defiant" and not listening, if the report is true.

Asking for a second chance before he has done anything to deserve it, tells me he's not going to change.

I hope he gets the second chance he deserves... all the privileges that comes with a laundry job in prison. And he should be grateful for that.

No criminal charges, so no court ordered treatment, which would report him for being uncooperative.
He apparently chose outpatient treatment instead of inpatient setting, where he would not be able to be on phone.

It was real obvious that his suddenly running off to "treatment" was BS.

that might follow a conviction.

He's never had to listen to anyone, why would he start now? He's just like the leader of this misbegotten nation.

Obviously, Harvey doesn't think he needs help, and so blows it off.

Classic addictive behavior pattern for substance and behavioral addicts.
