How Much Worse Can It Get? I Ask Myself.

As bad and tumultuous as things seemed in the past I wonder how much worse things can get now. At 73 I remember some really bad times in the US. As bad as the civil rights fight was, and the Vietnam war el al I don't believe I have ever seen our national prospects look so bleak politically. At least our elections were more sane by comparison. Now they are just as deranged as the political discourse.

1. Well, if a Democrat manages to beat Trump in (hopefully) 2020...

he/she will look like a shiny new penny with little or no effort. Trump will have left behind such a horrendous legacy, it will be a piece of cake to succeed at most any task at hand.

You can clean an organized and neat house, but it doesn't show. Clean a totally disorganized and filthy house and it draws immediate attention and shines in all its glory. If Trump wins 2020, we won't even be able to enter the building. It will be SO piled high with crap, it will be unsalvageable. We can't let that happen. Persist and impeach.
