She never mentioned funding. She did mention her efforts, against long odds, in getting the building named after the fallen FBI agents. Her diligence and persistence are worthy of praise, not scorn.

but that usually double down and make it worse. The fake prez is so psycho that he actually believes his own lies. I do not know much about Kelley but he probably will stay silent on this. Others have advised him to "just shut up" in public and perhaps apologize to the widow in private. He won't ever apologize to a black woman who is a Dem congressperson though.

First, tRump has a policy of never admitting mistakes or apologizing. He’d rather cut out his tongue than utter the words “I’m sorry.”

Second, as someone else noted, he will order Kelly to forget about an apology. If anything, they will double down on their false facts regarding the Congresswoman’s speech. Once tRump starts a narrative, he sticks to it until the last dog dies. So no apology from him. And none from anyone else, either.
