The deep wounds of deregulation. They can be fatal.

Democracy cannot survive without regulations. Capitalism cannot survive without regulations.

How do you gain wealth and power without firing a shot? Deregulation? How do you wage a civil war without firing a single shot?Deregulation?

A few rich republicans have gained great power with deregulation. One example is citizens united. One of dumbest, most destructive decisions in supreme court history. It discriminates. It gives the rich the power to do what most people cannot do.

Trump , along with his rich allies have been on a deregulation binge ever since Trump took office. The EPA, the workplace, financial markets, real estate markets, the FCC. It's a power grab that could cause great harm down the road. A few rich republicans are trying to create the kind of country they want and they are winning.

And republicans have run fund-raising campaigns on de-regulation and stripping government agencies regulatory and enforcement powers for the last 30 years...

Stripping the EPA of regulatory authority over the years is the biggest reason that the EPA was unable to PREVENT the Flint Michigan water crisis.

Stripping the FDA of its regulatory powers is the reason why we continue to pay the HIGHEST prescription drug prices in the world!
