No person I know has ever been capable of completing a George Will column.
The man sounds intelligent because he has an excellent vocabulary.
But being verbally affluent doesn't mean one's political (or human) judgment is sound.
George Will has backed every Republican piece of insanity from Nixon, through Reagan, through Bush II.
Now that an obviously insane man is in the White House, Will has decided that he'd better jump over to the other side of the fence in order to maintain a decent income.
Sorry, George. MSNBC may have bought you, but many of us out here know who and what you are.

(135,831 posts)it's just a job to these pundits....they are like mercenaries for hire.
Will, 75, is a Pulitzer-winning conservative columnist who was with ABC from 1981-2011 before coming to Fox in 2013.
In June of 2016, he declared he was leaving the Republican party because of Donald Trump, a decision the then-nominee appeared to embrace.
In 2015 and 2016, Will had periodically feuded with the network's highest-rated host, Bill O'Reilly, with Will once stating that O'Reilly's best-selling book, "Killing Reagan" was "nonsensical" and "The Factor" host calling Will "a hack" in a subsequent interview.

Regardless of his sports knowledge, he's a political stooge who has backed every piece of Republican insanity -- until now when the insanity has become undeniable.
He's a right-wing whore who wouldn't work the streets until the whore house started to reek of the stench a bit too much for him.

I stopped watching the networks a few years ago- there really isn't anything beneficial in seeing point/counter-point arguments being spewed across my screen. Most pundits are clueless dopes who are using talking points. Parroting a script isn't my idea of a good newscast. People eat that shit up like its some sorta game. I never understood those people - honestly I don't really want to understand them.
