The media actually did its job, and really impressed following up the claim from the Trump Administration. I know a check will never replace the lost of their son but taking politics out of this it just really warms my heart.

1. Look what Trump wrote in the letter he sent with the check:

“I am glad my legal counsel has been able to finally approve this contribution to you,” Trump wrote in the letter. . . . "

He is pretending that his legal counsel was holding up approval of the letter, not that he was stiffing the guy after making that grandiose promise.
