they are calling out trump's unfitness for office regardless of where he stands on mostly issues.

and I agree with both of you. It is important that they are speaking out but they can also go to hell. Speaking out now is far, far, far too late. They are like bull fighters who suddenly realize that the bull is truly going to do some damage. They've been taunting it and stabbing it for decades and now that it is in the china shop they are suddenly saying "someone else get that bull out of that china shop before he destroys all of our heirlooms."

That does not enhance their own. None of the three of them has shown the slightest deviation from the Republican hard in most cases, and it looks like McCain only did it on health care to spite McTurtle and Trump, and not because he developed a sudden empathy for twenty million of his countrymen.

Sure, McCain said nice things on "The View" and Flake made an impassioned speech on the Senate floor. But a TV spot and a speech laden with common sense won't help one single consumer squashed flat because he can't defend himself against wrongdoing by a corporation with a budget of billions and an army of lawyers.
