When someone says something about mourning a death it is unconscionably rude to ask something like that.

heard an interview where he was asked about rock 'n' roll and he said "I've been playing that since I was 15" or something like that.

He was unique and wonderful.

He may be in his element when playing with the Rolling Stones, but in that bunch, he was like a lost lamb!

Unless I was playing bass, I wouldn't have gotten a note in edgewise, nor would I have tried! How does a guitarist enhance a rock boogie with keyboards being played Fats Domino, Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis? Answer: by joining the audience!

Oh man, I just found out about this.

I remember after Katrina, when The Fat Man was unaccounted for, for a few days. I anxiously kept track of news reports, hoping that he was OK. When the news came out, I contacted people to let 'em know.

I sure am sorry to see this. Go, Fat Man, Go!
