401Ks are now on the table again.

The fucking moron flipped again (twice in 24 hours...what a surprise). R Reich was on CNN and as an economic wizard and former Clinton cabinet member was able to stay calm and rational during an interview on CNN with another GOP puppet defending the moron screwing the middle class after his loser/leader said he wouldn't touch the 401K of the middle class with his tax reform budget. I hope all the middle class 45 voters get royally screwed as I also wish for his base/cult voters who will lose their health insurance and go bankrupt and become even more ill and die. Unfortunately I am in need of the ACA with subsidies and socked all of my very low teacher income into 401Ks before I got so sick that I couldn't teach and before I was old enough to collect teacher retirement and benefits. I am using all of my savings and will go bankrupt just to avoid dying in severe pain (my diagnosis since last Sept.).

I am a life long liberal as is my entire family and my friends. I voted in EVERY election ( local etc.)since I was 18. I taught my students (first graders) how to vote and we did it throughout the school year. I taught civics to them and how to be a good citizen which was NOT in the first grade curriculum but I did it by "sneak teaching" like good teachers do. I DID NOT vote for this idiot/moron. The moron's base and the middle class white GOP voted for him. They will suffer as they should. I should not!

The biggest con of donnie's life--and that's saying something--setting up to loot the treasury to pay for a trillion in tax cuts for the rich.

The GOPee is desperately casting around for ways to screw the middle class in order to pay for these tax cuts. Nothing is safe.

He's persuaded some of the suckers--the GOPee is in overdrive trying to fool the peasantry.

We know better.

My guess is that this tax thing is going to suffer the same fate. This kind of proposal shows that they are desperate to do "something". This will fail.

It's very sad news to hear of your suffering, you are a great person.

who is seeing my country wither and die before my very eyes. I was born on the 3rd of July and always thought the fireworks were to celebrate my birthday and my country's birthday ( I grew up in Philadelphia and history surrounded me). I am glad that I will die before I will be able to witness our American death. That is my personal silver lining. I would like to see the moron and GOP go down into the Hell/Karma that they definitely deserve. Until I die I will go fighting and resisting all the way and however I can. I encourage everyone to do the same. We still do have respect for our democratic system and ourselves after all.

The lyrics from Pink Floyd's The Wall album song "Outside the Wall" is how I feel (I was/am an illustrator and teacher)..."the bleeding hearts and artists make their stand...and when they have given their all, some stagger and fall. After all it's not easy banging your head against some mad bugger's wall".

eventually they will convert all 401k’s to post-tax by going in and levying income tax against them.

They want the money for tax cuts for the corporations and the 1 percent.

Middle class white GOP thanks for all the caring and unity
His 25% hardcore base may be deranged , & the über wealthy 2% greed driven, but without all of you other folks voting for Trump, he would not have won.

can be good for certain people (taxpayers), it involves a bit of guessing. That said, a wall street firm making 1% (lower than average) makes $10 / 1000. An example if I contribute 1,300 to a 401k, the investment company earns 13, but it only costs me $1,000 take home pay. The same $1000 contributed to a roth only earns the investment co $10.

From the invest co's perspective, a pre-tax contribution is always better.

a Democratic President in the White House.

Best guess is you and I will be seeing an additional Grand a year in new income taxes. So much for those fake 4k household income gains.

Maybe today's sell off was Wall Streets first salvo. Or was today,a reality check with Yellen going away. Hate to see her go,she has forgotten more than all of the GOP will ever learn about Economics.

Since lots of blue states support schools and other community services, they have higher state and local taxes. That aside, I believe that we have higher donations to non church and probably church per capita. I want to see the plan and see how many thousands more this old woman will have to shell out for these grifters.
