This must have been a totally awesome experience for this child. Having him in the cockpit with these gentlemen and even allowing him to touch the controls while he described their functions was something that most people would be concerned about, but they played a real function of learning for this child. I am not an advocate of making things unsafe for flying passenger, but this was a real service to this 5+ year old. I wish that that had happened when I was 10 years old and asked to visit the flight deck and was denied for whatever reason.
