and that is not at all to diminish or belittle the true trump victims of his direct abuse (who according to today's "news" out of the halibut's mouth are all liars).

We are all being violated in so many ways - decency, common sense - truth (again) - by the non stop gaslighting machine. Not to mention to damage to our institutions, environment, safety nets. Each day becomes more and more and more unfathomable.

There seems to be no effective antidote - the media, if not complicit, becomes quickly overwhelmed - and defaults into false equivalence (with a very very few exceptions).

We've - certainly I've - said it lots over the past year - but this territory is so completely uncharted for our country. How will this trashy novel end, we all wonder?
