(26,620 posts)Gurriel did a stupid thing and apologized. Darvish blew it off and offered forgiveness. Gurriel played baseball in Japan, Darvish appreciates that too. I think the attention is good that it raises awareness about doing or saying things that ridicule an entire race of people. We can't and shouldn't follow the lead of the toddler in chief.
I hate that someone is defined by the dumbest thing he ever did. but a standing ovation by Houston fans? That was over the top. And he'll be soundly booed in LA. Ain't America great!

(6,854 posts)Millions of Japanese watch MLB. Now they know America cares nothing about racism against Asians. Same with the millions of Californians of Asian descent. He played in Japan and the opposing team is from California, home to millions of Asisns? He knew exactly what he was doing. POS. not his "worst" moment; his defining moment.
