Anybody know if George Papadopolous is a descendant of Georgios Papadopolous...

...who led the "Aprilloni", the Greek generals who-with the aid of the CIA-overthrew the democratic Greek government in 1967, replacing it with a brutal dictatorship that ruled Greece for seven years?

I can imagine Trump feeling very comfortable with someone from a family like that.

It's the Greek version of Smith.

I wondered that because I remember there is a notable purveyor of pro-Russian propaganda named Marcus Papadopoulos that I initially thought might be a relative, but I don't think that's the case.

But who knows? Certain Smiths are related to other Smiths, after all.
