I don't know the outcome of his investigation but;

Mueller is going after crimes outside of the campaign.

And that makes me smile, because we know someone who has played fast and loose with the law for years. In fact we know a whole family that has.

1. when you trun over rocks, you often find unexpected stuff. Way federal investigations go

as they build the cases. This is the MOST worrisome for trump as his finances have been fast and loose for a couple decades and major reason for not turning over his tax returns. Imagine the past 30 years where he could not get money from US institutions but had to depend on Saudis, chinese and russians........not good PR for such a "smart man"

2. It is likely the wealth that he says he has, is actually all backed by actual debt!

3. They're not really outside the campaign

All of these financial crimes and those that are to come are going to link back to Trump's financial vulnerability. That financial vulnerability is going to be shown to tie Trump to Russia and Russian oligarchs-who were his bankers after he couldn't get a payday loan here in the United States. His fealty to the Russians was their direct avenue of access to Trump and his campaign. You can't unravel the web of money laundering and other financial dealings from the campaign because they are the underlying reason why Trump, his family and his campaign were talking to the Russians in the first place.

but it's more than the collusion about Hillary.
It's about how these people did business for decades before Drumpf ran for office.
