Help me out; let's talk about how Sessions/Trump can fire Mueller

OK, I need some input from you news/political junkies.

My understanding is that Trump cannot fire Mueller. He has to order his AG to do so. Sessions has recused himself.

Why did Sessions recuse himself? Honor? Decency? The spotlight was on him? Knowing what I know and thinking what I think about the vile little racist Keebler Elf SOB I suspect the latter. He's not holding onto any integrity, in my mind.

Why is Sessions holding out here? Fear he'll go down if he fires Mueller? You know Trump wants Mueller fired. And you also know how many people are around him trying desperately to tell him: "You get Mueller fired and you might as well take out a fucking ad in the NY Times screaming: 'I'm guilty!' You do this and you are FUCKED!"

What does Trump have to do to fire Mueller? Fire Sessions and then find an AG who will do so?

We know he doesn't care about the impact, the outcome or how bad it looks. He is a screaming toddler in a grocery store who wants that Popsicle "NOW RIGHT NOW MOMMY OR I'LL HOLD MY BREATH UNTIL I PASS OUT!"

2. He would have to get Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General

to do it.

If Rosenstein says no, then he’s gone. New Depity AG moves up, etc.

until someone agrees to do the deed.
Nixon had to get all the way down to Robert Bork (yes, that Bork) to find someone to fire his Special Counsel.

it was. How in the world that cretin’s name escaped me, I have no idea. I had somehow mercifully forgotten about him.

It's not a settled issue whether Trump can fire Mueller. It'd take a Supreme Court decision specifically on
the issue to clarify the situation.

Right now, there are several that are against firing Bob Mueller. They could just appoint a new independent prosecutor that could not be fired by the President. So, he needs the Republicans on his side if he tries to fire Mueller.

10. They'd have to fire Mueller, a bunch of investigators, and a bunch of Democrats at this

point. It's too late. Trump is stuck. At bet he could only obstruct things, and that might be a crime too.
