If sessions goes, mueller is not far behind.

I loathe the bigoted perjurer, but if he goes, Donnie will replace him with someone who will fire mueller.

Donnie and the replacement will of course insist it wasn't part of a deal and of course the topic never came up in the job interview process, and Mueller's getting fired because of something totally unrelated to Donnie or the investigation. Using too many manila folders or something.

I want them all to go down, but a certain order is necessary so as to get all of them.

The new appointee would have to be approved by the Senate. Yes, I know, Republicans control that, but with McCain and Flake and Corker I don't think just anyone could get in. They might even make demands to protect Mueller as a condition for approval.

All in all, because Sessions leaving would be an incredibly negative press story for Trump, I would be in favor of it.

And republicans will approve anyone with an (r) after their name who sounds like they watch foxnews.

Of course they'll say they have no plans to fire mueller. Then when they're confirmed, they'll say, wow, I never knew this mueller guy was so bad, blah blah blah,....

The Senate has said confirmation of a replacement AG will not happen until next year. Grassley said earlier that their docket is full the rest of this year.

Tell Rosenstein to do it. If he says no, he’s gone. Next person moves up, and he can go through people until one of them fires Mueller.

Sessions is not in his way at all, so he’s no protection for Mueller.

He's trying to find a way to get rid of mueller without it looking too much like the Saturday night massacre.

Sessions in a scandal gives him a better story.

it’ll look. Maybe his lawyers do, and that’s what’s holding him back now. Who knows.

But we know for sure he wants to fire Mueller so bad he’s probably made it his #1 priority.
