It was totally inappropriate.

I'm not sure I was very understandable since I thought in French then translated in English, I said this on another post :

What is that she is wearing ?

Doesn't she have an advisor to tell her how to wear appropriatly ?

She is supposed to be an official representing a country. Not a whore who forgot an appointment and who have put on the first piece of fabric he could get her hands on.

It is too short.

I'm not at all prudish but to me it is not the way an official should be dressed. She i supposed to represent all citizens from any condition, any belief, any moral, what she is wearing fits more an ordinary woman.

I don't like it anyway.

But I agree with you. I don't think she looks whorish, but I find the length of skirt entirely inappropriate for such an occasion. She looks like she's dressed for a sorority event to me. And this from a woman who was both in a sorority and enjoys wearing short skirts. Personal opinion, but I would opt for much closer to the knee when on the public stage like this.

But really this family is really unfit for the job.

In addition, I found it was ironic when talking about harassement.

Not hard to imagine stupid reactions such as "no wonder why she get harassed when dressed as she is"...

I would probably have explained better in French.

I once got thoroughly lashed for saying I thought yoga pants and a ratty sweatshirt looked out of place in my classroom where the other students were attired in what we would think of as "business casual." Oh boy, you'd have thought I was slut shaming the girl or something. Some even jumped to the conclusion that I was holding it against her when I said nothing of the sort. Actually, she was one of my favorite students with a brilliant mind. That experience has made me reluctant to comment on sartorial choices, but I'll risk the fray on this one. That skirt's too damned short. LOL!

She's no schoolgirl: she's playacting at being a presidential advisor, and yes, should dress conservatively. Aside from the fact that it should be 3 inches longer and I don't care for the outfit in toto, I think the (translated) French critique is over the top.

Skirt suits exist and some are really great. Gives a professional look and very feminine.

If she designed it, she better look to hire a real designer...

Besides the fact it is not appropriate, it is simply awful.

I'll apologize in advance, but she always looks like a cheap whore to me. Fake boobs, collagen injections, botox injections, and enough makeup on for Japan's entire Kabuki Theater troupes. Not my kind of girl, anyway. Some like that plastic, vapid look I guess.

She and her mother-in-law are vulgar. What a difference with Hillary Clinton, Michele Obama and many other first ladies.

About make up, each time I see Melania or Ivana, I can help myself to think they have put enought make up on their face to sink an ocean liner...
