I'll add a link to spurious Jefferson quotes, though it's not needed in this case.

I'm doing on general principles, as there are a lot of Jefferson quotes are there that Jefferson never said. They usually have a lot to do with free enterprise. The usual suspects send them to everyone on their mailing lists.
