60 Minutes -- what a joke!

Seething after watching 60 Minutes report on Puerto Rico. Only interviewed the Trump cheerleader governor, made all kinds of excuses about why PR is still without power and water, never spoke to San Juan mayor -- and here's the worst part: referred in passing to White Fish as a "somewhat" troubled deal with a contractor who was "well connected." No names. No mention of delay getting there or the mismanagement. Instead, it was "oh, it's an island," "gee, the island is broke,"or "it's hard work!"

In short, a big wet kiss for Trump and company. Unbelievable.

Anyone else see this and agree? I want some assurance that I'm not losing my mind.

1. It was focused on the immensity of the problem, not politics

Did not find it political and focused for once on the actual issues on the ground. It was overwhelming to see. The FEMA people there and others looked to be working hard - I do not fault them because their leader is an ass.

2. An immense problem - good thing we had 60 minutes to clue us in on that, huh?

Quite a revelation for their investigative team to bring to the screen, going on two months after landfall.

No follow-up - just "oh, okay."

60 Minutes sure ain't what it used to be. Or maybe it's always been bullshit with a veneer or hard hitting investigation. Most of us see things so much more clearly now.
