What do you expect them to do? Act reasonably?
We are entering into the politics of the Dark Ages. Politicians are as much beset by fear and loathing as the rest of the Trumpy Fan Base. And voting won't help because the entire voting process is controlled by the GOP. I'll be one amazed citizen if a close race in Virginia results in a Democratic victory. If the election is close, the GOP will steal votes and win.
