racks usually. Even the check-out stands I guess I didn't notice how political and evil Inquirer had become, beyond what it had been, until I was shocked one day by something. If there's room to move a stack of something else in front of it I sometimes will, but it sticks out. Dumb, I have no idea how often they reorganize those things.

I've read it's white working people who love those vicious lies about celebs, and now pumped up coverage of Trump, but given the political corruption of media I'm not at all sure their chumming for those sharks is only about profits.

I can see that gun mags would take a bit more time. Wonder if whoever's on security knows you and if you have a nickname.

“Women, you have to treat ’em like shit.” —Donald Trump, New York magazine, November 9, 1992

After centuries of indifference to or even tacit (and sometimes open) sanctioning of sexual harassment, abuse or assault, we are suddenly in the midst of a cock conflagration. Powerful men in Hollywood, politics, journalism and many other fields are being pilloried, sacked or jailed for piggish or even criminal behavior toward women.

To understand how this bonfire started, we must speak frankly about the Garden of Dicks, a mythical place in the caveman lobe of the male brain. Like that other primeval paradise, the Garden of Eden, men have tried for millennia to create it here on Earth.

The Garden of Dicks is a Hooters. It’s an NFL locker room. It’s the Vatican. It’s the Rolling Stones’ private jet. It’s Harvey Weinstein’s suite at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

...

In the Garden of Dicks, it’s always about the dick.

approximately 50% of white women who voted, voted for trump. Not to mention the women who accused him of inappropriate behavior. I have yet to figure out how that happened. Why was trump given a pass by these women.

That's an unflattering and untrue stereotype about women and as such is inappropriate for you to dredge up IMO.

There was plenty not to like about Hillary (ask me how I know), and that would've been especially true for anyone with a conservative bent. FURTHER, we had Russia inflaming all those Hillary's-not-my-favorite feelings big time. I watched a good bit of it on Facebook and Twitter and was aghast at the time, and looking back now that I know all about Russia's involvement, I'm even more aghast at how embedded they were and how successful they were.

It's a variation of Stockholm syndrome. Women acclimate the the arrangement and even learn to manipulate it. As such, they accept the way it is and even can become concerned about it changing somehow because it could affect their ability to manipulate it.

I heard it so often from the women at work, how bitchy women are, you know you can't trust women, etc. etc. I just don't get it, my mom came from family with 8 girls and 4 boys and her sisters were her support system. She raised us the same way, and my sister is my best friend. I think it's a crying shame that so many women hate themselves and their sisters so much that they support a man who's been sued 22 times for sexual harassment and/or assault, was best friend with a convicted child rapist and is accused of raping and beating a 13 year old. /they would rather support him than a hard working brilliant woman because of 30 years of RW lies and because of their inbred hate of themselves.

I don't remember seeing this at school (?), but I worked for 47 years in an environment where there were 90% women and hundreds to thousands of us depending on which company I was working at, and I saw sadly this attitude over and over. I will never truly understand why so many have it, but it's certainly present.

... I for one had forgotten how truly shocking the accusations against Trump were.

It's just unbelievable that someone like him, with a history of genuinely disgusting behaviors, was allowed to get anywhere near the White House. I can't believe the media didn't cover his behavior towards women with 1% of the energy that they covered his stupid rallies... it's beyond imagining, because those were certainly newsworthy and salacious stories.

It's really amazing to see this all in print. And men on both sides are named, so it's not just an anti-Trump article, which I think will give extra credence to it. But wow, to see a story about the current president looking up women's skirts and commenting on their genitalia... I'm old enough to remember when that would have tanked a political career on Day One.
