Moore is toast.

Roy Moore is toast.  His political career is over.
Yes, he may still be elected because when evangelical voters get the bit in their teeth nothing will change their minds.

As a senator he will be shunned by 99 of his colleagues.  He will be radioactive.  No one will want to have anything to do with him.  In effect, Alabama will have only one senator, Richard Shelby.

If you want to cripple this state in the senate, vote for Moore.

I was born in Montgomery in 1941.
Grew up in Birmingham.
Left the state in 1968 to pursue a career in aviation (TWA).
Moved back in 1993.
I was pretty much apolitical until the 2000 sElection.
That's when I became a yella dawg Democrat.

The political corruption in this state, since the repugs have taken over, is just mind boggling.

Chris Hayes last night? He did a great job laying out the corruption and the insanity of the voters who put these cretins (one guy had 23 felony indictments against him and he STILL got voted in). Sorry to say, Alabama will elect Moore.

saga last night, including warning parents to get kids out of the room when she played the salacious recording. She talked about bentley's denials, the AG (?), Strange, protecting him, the whole sordid mess and how difficult it was to get rid of him. Even how the AL legislature (or Assembly?) maintained the status quo until the criminals were carted off to prison.

It looks so corrupt from the outside that the Daley/Chicago shenanigans of decades ago must have been the inspiration. Isn't there federal law and intervention available for this stuff?

He may say he doesn't believe a word of it and keep him in the race.

Though in actuality he would be jealous of someone who could do that kind of crap and stay in power.

Trump himself is supposed to be the only one who has the super power to break every law and moral value while keeping his slavering voters toadying around him so he'll probably order everyone to dump him.

They will try to spin this as a "Democrat dirty trick", or some such. Or, they'll claim "The bitch is lying." Whether they can make it stick is another story.

and then Moore should be used as an example of the most vile of Republican conservative extremism by Democrats in 2018.

That's how the cards will be dealt; that's how they should be played.
