(146,307 posts)It was 13 degrees F here this morning and has been way below average for a week. Minnesota is still a state, I believe. Now, that cold weather is moving east, so it finally is being noticed.

(65,034 posts)I live about 55 miles south of the city. I took the dog out for a walk around 4:15 am and it was pretty darned cold. Had to go to the winter car and get some gloves.
