Charges dropped against 3 in Confederate statue toppling

... Durham County District Attorney Roger Echols told The Herald-Sun of Durham that he dismissed the felony and misdemeanor charges against Aaron Caldwell, Taylor Cook and Myles Spigner.

Echols told the newspaper there was no visual evidence, or other evidence, to show those three took part in ripping down the statue.

Vandalism is wrong, but Confederate statues are an abomination celebrating the perpetrators and defenders of slavery and a subtle form of terrorism.
