3. Attractive as her intelligence is, she is a very physically attractive woman as well.

A little experiment this morning...
It is hard, I think, because society has so ingrained the "need" to be physically attractive that I think our responses come automatically now. I do try to step back and listen to those who do not present that engaging appearance as well, but it doesn't come naturally. Interesting that her panel this morning includes two women dressed quite "as might be expected "and bringing up good points. The panel also included one other woman dressed in a more traditionally masculine style and an Asian man, fairly casual, both wearing thick glasses. So, I was sort of watching my instinctive reactions to each and I have to admit (probably because I was focusing on what they said and not how they looked), I took the latter two as more intellectual.

No criticisms or stereotypes meant to be conveyed here... Just examining (and catching) my own responses.
