A sober thought: the voters who will reelect Sanders and Warren will likely reelect GOP Governors...

Charlie Baker (MA) and Phil Scott (VT) are both "Likely-R" races.

In developing a campaign strategy 2018, thinking of "every" Republican as an intolerant, anti-working class bigot isn't the smart thing to do...

was a "likely R" clear majority (by 10-15%), as were those counties in NE Ohio that just flipped a bunch of seats blue -- we're in really "interesting" times now.

Was the moon landing a "likely" success? Absolutely not. But we persevered and did it.

People who survive cancer often talk about looking at the statistics -- i.e., 80% chance of death. They all talk about deciding early on that they were going to be part of the 20% survival rate, and move accordingly.

Just sayin'.

If these two aren't part of the solution to the present problem of Republican government, then they are part of the problem.

That said, lumping all Republicans into a basket of deplorables is indeed the wrong thing to do and counter productive.

...and as far as VT-GOV, we don't even have a serious candidate (one of the two is 13 years old).
