I don't mean to be a concern troll, but...

(You know the old saying, "everything before 'but' is B.S.&quot

With all these people saying "me too" it's getting to the point where people just shrug and think "Oh well. I guess it happens to everyone." and it just becomes normalized so we can all go back to ignoring it. What starts as a movement can quickly become a fad, and then fade away with no real change accomplished. We need something stronger and more permanent than a growing pile of "me too" tweets.

But I would hazard a guess that for many of those who simply say "me too," recounting the whole sordid story is more than they can handle, and I don't feel I can tell them otherwise.

to how do we stop this from continuing.

There's no way that everyone that's done this is going to resign or get fired for it, there's far too many. I'd like to see a way that we can make sure that people can report it safely when it happens and make sure that those who do it going forward know the consequences ahead of time and actually face them.
