Trump hates CNN because they discuss his Russia connections that he would rather not get mentioned
Trump prefers FOX "News" because they are (and have been since their creation in 1996) a Republican propaganda channel that will always cover for Republicans at any cost, and no serious person takes them as an honest news network. Just because they have more eyeballs in the ratings doesn't mean that they are a legitimate news network. Smart/honest people have many other ways of getting their news and do not necessarily sit by their TV's waiting for the next tv anchor to tell them what to think and what the news is.
Trump hates CNN and MSNBC because they discuss his dealings with Russia and cover the trail of evidence that is now in the White House play grounds. Calling all bad news about Trump "fake" doesn't make it so.
