The time of "shock and awe".

The leaders of this country, with all the intelligence agencies, had determined that Russia had interfered in our presidential election. They brought the news to the new President of the United States. He discounted it and ignored it. The entire government was shocked by his reaction.

Normally, a President - any President - would call for an immediate investigation. He would assure the American people that we would get to the bottom of it and find the truth. But not this President.

Even as the Deputy Atty General warned the White House that they had evidence on his National Security Adviser that indicated he might be liable to blackmail from the Russians, the information was ignored. He was kept in his job for another 24 days. It was unbelievable!

Then, one by one, members of the new Administration were found to have had secret meetings with the Russians? Red flags went up everywhere. And every time, the Administration officials lied. Why? They refused to tell the simple truth.

Our faith in our system of government was shattered. It appeared that we had been taken over by a foreign government, the Russians. The new President gave no one the reason to think otherwise. He simply dismissed all charges as a "hoax" and a creation of "fake news". The country had entered a time of crisis unlike any we had ever seen in our history.

Even as a "Special Prosecutor" was appointed to investigate the matter in a non-partisan manner, very little progress was made in finding the truth. People continued to lie. The new President continued to idolize the Russian oligarchs. The citizens continued to survive under the cloud of uncertainty and scandal.

Now, ten months in, we wait impatiently for something to break? Anything? But, so far, nothing.

...that the Deputy Attorney General was fired soon thereafter.

And when the FBI did not drop their investigation of his National Security Adviser, the new President fired him also.

That only deepened the crisis.

Trump must be removed and the rightful winner of the 2016 election must assume her role as President. We are in uncharted waters here, our founding fathers could not have foreseen this crisis where we have had a presidential election stolen.
Once tRump is removed we, as a country, must take account of what happened and who is responsible.
How could 60 million fellow Americans be fooled into voting for trump by Russian influences?
How can we assure this will not happen again?
What do we do with the tRump supporters within our government? They are criminals, do we need tribunals to sort out those responsible?

And although the infrastructure (and some significant political will) for them exists in certain quarters, the camps themselves as yet do not, either.
