If the monied and elite cannot create jobs now with their wealth

what makes you think more tax breaks will bring more jobs? Just think a moment, now they are putting their monies in off shore accouts, buying their own stock, etc and you really think giving them more money will create jobs? Maybe a few but it is time these "patriotic" world businesses start giving a damn about the country that allowed them to become well-off. I think they owe it to the American working class and the US. Maybe this worship of Capitalism uncontrolled is evil

It is tribalism, details be damned.

The one per centers continue to increase their share of wealth while the middle class and blue collar workers endure more erosion of compensation and benefits. It's not right and Trump is trying to push things in the wrong direction, helping his wealthy cronies and himself.

As many of us who know what is going on, that many have no clue and actually believe a plan created by a known greedy asshole wannabe billionaire is good for them.

Or, they will say "it is not fair to make the rich pay more, they already pay too much as it is!"

Then you need to educate them as to HOW they got roads, bridges, universities, inventions, creations, military, all education and so on.

That all exists due to an aggressive, yet now all but gone, PROGRESSIVE tax system. They dont know this, they have no sense of history or math.

extremist billionaires who've taken control of the Republican Party, and they are moving on the takeover they've been plotting for decades now.

All scales should be removed from all eyes as what the Republican Party has become steals elections, leaves Puerto Rico to die, takes healthcare away from children, uses the justice department to prevent justice, and does "tax reform" to engineer the by far biggest theft of taxpayer dollars in history.

But right now there's a thread right here on DU full of eager people claiming how much they'd love to dump both the Republican and the Democratic parties and move to a third party.

Because no one could deceive them into believing their shiny new party was corrupt and worthless, could they? And if you'll believe that, you'll believe that all those who went there would get brain transplants with the transfer and be clueless idiots no longer.

Often that does not involve building factories and creating more jobs in the U.S.

Jobs are created only when there is growing demand for a product or service. Giving even more money to corporations and the already super-rich does nothing to stimulate demand, except perhaps on a very limited scale. I don't know why some people are unable to grasp that concept.
