Sioux Leader To Trump: Leave The Office You Bought And Take Your Swamp Things With You

A Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe leader issued a damning response Wednesday to President Donald Trump’s “Pocahontas” slur earlier this week during an event meant to honor Navajo Code Talkers.

Harold Frazier, chairman of the South Dakota-based tribe, said he was “deeply ashamed” of Trump’s “disgusting” treatment of the World War II veterans and appeared to suggest that the president should resign.

“The President of the United States had an opportunity to honor veterans and bridge gaps in the relationship Tribes have with the Federal government,” Frazier said in a statement sent to HuffPost. “Instead, he chose to disgrace himself, his position and the nation he represents.”

Frazier continued, “The President of the United States wanted to utilize an opportunity to honor native warriors who defended this land to make a political attack. I have one for him, leave the office you bought and take your swamp things with you.”

zero marks left, zero shits given by Twitler
why would he care about something that happened yesterday and involved Native Americans? just look at the portrait hanging over the presentation, that should be a direct indication of how deeply he cares. super deep! you guys are the best -- oh wait -- tee time, gotta run!
on the up-side, the Native Americans have a decent shot at inheriting whatever rubble is left when Trumpco is done with us.

Surely you jest. Here will come Sarah Suckerbee Sanders, batting her fake eyelashes, explaining that he was correct, the others are all wrong. Her daddy taught her to lie with a straight face. The democratic politicians should make sure people on reservations get their opportunity to VOTE. In some places, the polling booth is 100 miles away. Make voting convenient for them, since they are CITIZENS. At the rate tRump is alienating folks, only the DC gop will vote for the orange menace.

That was a shameful exhibition by Trump. Again, Trump thought it was all about HIM and what HE thought. Not the people he was there to honor. Shameful.

while my husband and I are not tribal members, we are very familiar with Frazier and the great job he's doing. Like most Lakota Sioux (and most Native Americans, for that matter), he isn't afraid to speak truth to power when needed and he isn't intimidated by or afraid of government leaders and agencies or corporate leaders and minions. Like most NA leaders, he takes the job of leading and standing up for his people very seriously. Tribal members have taken so much daily shit all of their lives that they're a lot stronger than most people think they are, and have no hesitation in giving their all to stand up and fight when needed, as was evident in the NO DAPL movement last year.

Trump has a well-documented decades-long hatred of Indians, and they know it and aren't hesitating to give it right back to him, no matter the cost.
