FAMILY VALUES

Welp, It Looks Like Roy Moore Started Dating His Wife When She Was Still Married

by Aidan McLaughlin | 9:10 am, December 6th, 2017

Some extensive muckraking by the good folks over at the Washington Examiner revealed that Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore may have started dating his now-wife when she was still married to her former husband.

According to an examination of court documents and Moore’s own statements, there seems to be an overlap in the Alabama senate candidate’s courtship of then-Kayla Kisor and her marriage to her former husband, Chuck Heald.

Per the Examiner, the timeline is as follows:

— Moore met Kayla at a church gathering the week before Christmas 1984, according to his 2005 book So Help Me God.

— Moore and Kayla began dating “early in the new year” of 1985, before marrying in December 1985.

— But Kayla filed for divorce on December 28, 1984, per divorce records, and the divorce was not finalized until four months later, on April 19, 1985.

liberal. Also, it’s totally okay for 30+ year old men to be sexually involved with 14 year olds — so sayeth the pastors of Alabama.

"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." Matthew 5:32

So basically Roy Moore is committing an ongoing sin of adultery by being married to a divorced woman. Jesus himself said this.

wouldn't even let my mother and step-father have their wedding ceremony there since they were both divorced. They did let us be members though. I figure it was because step-asshole gave them a ton of free mechanic work on their sunday school buses and they were solid 10% tithers. Usually more.

He attended a dance recital she was in while she was still in school.

So he'd had his eye on her a long time before he finally 'got' her.

Rightwingwatch had a post about some religious right guy who claimed Roy looked at teenagers when he got back from VN because age-appropriate women were married.

Compare the photos of the two girls, the one he molested and the one he married. Someone had the pictures in a tweet a couple of weeks ago, and the resemblances between the two are marked.

Really don't want to be the morality police here. If the woman who became his wife was over the legal age of consent, mature enough to make her own decisions about who she wanted to date, that's enough for me.

First of all, they're all hypocrites, and secondly, they don't even get hypocrisy. Or they don't care.

I say we drown them in indifference. You cheated on your wife? YAWN. Dated a married man? how droll. Unless what they've done is actually illegal it should be no ones business. I say that as someone who lived through the Clinton impeachment.

What mid-30 year old man "dates" a 14 year old child, first off. And second, since when do we call people sneaking around behind a spouses back and screwing someone else "dating." They"f*%king, NOT dating. Quit letting these pedophiles and philanderers frame the discussion.
