Am I the only one

who ignores multiple posts? I've seen many posts that the topic interests me but see it posted many times in a few minutes. I just move on. Not sure if posters do it intentionally. But it seems a waste to me and kind of disrespectful. Someone enlighten me on why this keeps happening.

Like GD & then in a specialty forum like Energy & Environment. I've seen posts in three forums, too. GD gets more attention, but the specialty forums sometimes have a deeper discussion, with more comments & additional links. At least E&E is that way, although be warned, it is probably the most depressing forum on the site.

I remember on DU2 when there was a posting message about good members don't post dupes with a list of the last 10 posts posted (kind of like LBN is now).

I try to kick up the first post on the topic if I am aware. The people who are the worst offenders seem to be the ones who get the most comments.
