Hi, yall. I was in your fair state on Thursday and Friday. It was the first time I’d ever been to

Alabama.

I went to Montgomery, specifically to see Hank Williams' grave:



I also saw the Hank Williams museum and statue.

But for me I think the most important thing is, I made it through Atlanta. At rush hour, yet (5:00 PM)!
it was like, traffic would be moving along at a reasonable pace, say 40-50 mph...then suddenly everyone ahead is
braking. Lather, rinse, repeat, umpteen times. But I know now it is doable.

Another thing, I thought Alabama was in Eastern time, found out most of it isn't.

Those Alabama communities on Eastern Time were related mostly to Georgia textile mill operations. This kept all the employees from both states on time no excuses.

Today, it works for car manufacturers! Believe it or not - much better than third world textile work! Good trade off!
