UPDATE 4:40 PM:

We completed the configuration change and it appears that DU is still here, so that's good news! However, we're as yet unsure whether it did anything to fix the ad problem. We will continue to monitor the situation. If you get any error messages, or if you are a Star Member seeing ads, please send me a PM.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

As many of you know we've been having some issues with Star Members occasionally seeing ads over the past week. We are about to make a fairly significant change to our configuration in an effort to fix this.

We hope that this change will not result in any errors at all, and you won't even notice that it happened. However, we thought we should give you a heads up just in case errors occur.

We will be making the change shortly.

In theory everything should keep working as normal. This is just to give you a heads up in case it doesn't. But if something goes wrong, we'll revert the change so things should go back to normal fairly quickly one way or the other.

9. Ever since I did a recent update to Windows 10, I am having issues at DU. On the

tabs at the top, none are highlighted even if there has been recent activity. Also, there is no contrast between read and unread post titles. I use google chrome and have an older Samsung monitor so this might be a problem with my PC. It's not a big deal, but some of us old folks take time to get used to new fangled things! Many thanks for all you and the team do to keep DU up and running.
