Judge throws out Andrew Shirvell lawsuit against former U-M student body president

A federal judge threw out a lawsuit this week filed against the former student body president at the University of Michigan by a former state of Michigan assistant attorney general.
Judge Arthur Tarnow ruled Monday to dismiss the suit filed by Andrew Shirvell against Chris Armstrong, the first openly gay student body president at U-M.
Shirvell had claimed that Armstrong had bullied him and defamed him when Armstrong filed a lawsuit against Shirvell.
The judge also granted our motion to dismiss Shirvell's counter-claims against Chris, said Armstrong attorney Deborah Gordon. Shirvell had said Chris had defamed him by calling him a "bully" and his "attacker". He also alleged that Chris is responsible for his being terminated.

(16,230 posts)Extremely creepy. He was obsessed with this college student. He blogged about him and picketed against him. Eventually he was fired from his position with the state because of it. Very strange.
