‘God hates fags’: Man stabs, strips, writes ‘dyke’ on lesbian — then chokes her with dog leash

Police in Tacoma were searching for a suspect who allegedly attacked a lesbian woman by stabbing her and writing homophobic slurs on her body.

The Tacoma News Tribune reported that the woman left her home just before 3 a.m. on Sunday carrying a leash to track down a dog that had gotten loose.

The woman, who only wanted to be identified as “Chris,” told KIRO-TV that a man advised her that the dog had gone down an alley. When she went down the alley to find the dog, he followed. “He ran up behind me and he said something like why don’t I sound like a boy, that I look like a boy,” she recalled. “And that’s when it started.”

“Are you a dyke?” she said the man asked. “God hates fags.” Chris told Tacoma police that the man stabbed her in the breast, jaw, left forearm and left thigh with a pocketknife. Police said that the suspect then stripped away her clothes, and wrote “dyke” on her buttocks and back.

and hope she can recover, heal and overcome the emotional scars from this attack. If she can't get the writing off, what did the scumbag use? If he carries a special marker with him, that makes it premeditated. And thank God, he hadn't escalated his violence to carrying a deadlier weapon.

There are some things she can try on her skin, in the meantime. Vegetable or olive oil might help. Rubbing alcohol. Hydrogen peroxide.

9. This is troubling. My first thought was hoping that this was a hoax, and that someone

didn't really go through all this. Her dog might have saved her life.

I hope they catch the guy that did it. The attacker probably needs serious mental help, and is one of the people that should be institutionalized but aren't. Sure, bigotry is no doubt involved, but I'd say that mental illness is the major contributor to this.

And I hope he's caught but thinking realistically I'd be surprised if anyone even investigates properly. The guy who did it could have been a cop the way many of them act. If you aren't rich it's very hard to get any justice in this country.

This poor woman, I feel so bad for her. I hope her dog is found and that she has loving friends and family that help to see her though. Some people are monsters and way too many of them act out on religious hate speech. We have way too many sick people.
