Source: AP

The group has already looted and damaged two UNESCO world heritage sites — Nimrod and Hatra — both in northern Iraq.

Saddam liked to "rebuild" historical sites in his own likeness. he turned the ruins of Old bablylon into a Saddam Hussein-themed legoland.

to be able to explore the Library of Alexandria for a year before it was destroyed? Assume you had nothing better to do for a year, and that you were literate in all relevant languages.

Some things are so profound that there simply is no assigning a finite value to them.
