(24,979 posts)Here we go: It sounds like a story that RT would report, right?
Yoo hoo, here boy, red meat, RT! Woof! Putin!
But DU silliness aside... there's nothing to say. The Kiev regime is ever inch the image projected (in part) on to the Moscow regime. Not a Putin fan, but the difference is very easy to understand: they need to draw the West into support for their war, even at the cost of risking World War III.

(10,575 posts)Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the Ukrainian government will sign an agreement on military and technical cooperation with NATO, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will seek to meet NATO standards.
The government is signing an agreement on cooperation in the field of support with NATO. It is an agreement on support between the Ukrainian Cabinet and NATO, which envisages the implementation of four trust projects with NATO, including military and technical cooperation, communications, new communications and information technologies, Yatseniuk said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
He said that Ukraine needed to rebuild its armed forces using the example of the strongest armies and associations which are fighting for global peace, and which adhere to NATO standards.
We are moving in this direction, Yatseniuk added.

(14,779 posts)These people had power, but are now the "enemy of the people", and I can see them being harassed so much that it gets to much for them and they commit suicide. The harassment is a way for the present Government to direct rage at the economic situation the Ukraine finds itself (pre WWII, it would have been against the Jews, but most Jews were killed during WWII or moved to Israel, thus no Jews to blame the economy on, so the former president's supporters have to be used).
On the other hand, the harassment may include killing a few of the former President's supporters to keep the other quite. We may find out in about 5-10 years, but long after the present conflict in the Ukraine is over.
