you felt the need to comment, since you don't give a damn about the royal family? Seems like you would find better things to do, since you don't give a damn. A curious decision on your part . . .

And why should we care about some outdated method of keeping people under control, while they maintain billions in wealth they stole from the people over generations?

The news reports say this new baby will add one billion cash to the economy in tourism and charity just for being born.

Many people feel that fawning over an old and outdated institution with a history of abusing the common man is something that we should think about and consider.

Having said that, I understand that they are popular and do some good things with their status. This is not the biggest issue in the world, but I would *expect* there to be argument on a forum dedicated to democratic values?

A google search for "chelsea clinton baby site:democraticunderground.com" returns
about 15,300 results.

"duchess of cambridge baby site:democraticunderground.com" returns 1480.

"jenna bush baby site:democraticunderground.com" returns 1210.

Let me guess: "That's different" (due to American Exceptionalism or such like).

I just think they are neat people. I love watching them interact with the children they support. Harry is just wonderful with kids.

That George is adorable. And the new princess is too.

I don't care much about the rest of the royals.
