Jeb Bush says he would have invaded Iraq

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush would have authorized the 2003 invasion of Iraq, as his brother and then-president George W. Bush did, he told Fox News' Megyn Kelly in an interview scheduled to air today.
"I would have authorized the invasion, and so would have Hillary Clinton, just to remind everybody. And so would almost everybody that was confronted with the intelligence they got," the likely 2016 presidential contender said.

He said George W. Bush agrees that this was a blunder, "so just for the news flash to the world, if they're trying to find places where there's big space between me and my brother, this might not be one of those."

Iraq is tricky territory for the younger Bush. Polls consistently show that a vast majority now think that the war, which lasted from 2003 to 2011 and cost nearly 4,500 American lives, was not worth it. It remains the most controversial element of George W. Bush's legacy.

For anyone who's still on the fence. 
... Jeb knew a lot more than Dubya about the events leading up to the invasion & destruction of Iraq.
None of it would have happened without the theft of Florida 2000, and Jeb was a key player in the heist.
He was in on all of this crap back in the 1990s, and needs to be held to account. Not that the corporate media has the slightest intention of asking any pertinent questions...

3/18/03 Washington Post article headlined "Bush Clings to Dubious Allegations About Iraq" notes, "As the Bush administration prepares to attack Iraq this week, it is doing so on the basis of a number of allegations against Iraqi President Saddam Hussein that have been challenged—and in some cases disproved—by the United Nations, European governments and even U.S. intelligence reports."
