FBI agent wounded while searching for 9-year-old girl

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Authorities say an FBI agent was wounded and a suspect was killed when gunfire broke out at a Louisiana motel where a kidnapped 9-year-old girl from Texas was found safe.
The agent, whose name was not released, was hit in the leg. The FBI said his wound was not life-threatening.
Police in Benbrook, Texas, the victim's home city, said the suspect, 24-year-old Jessie Nicholas Williams, was killed.
The FBI would not confirm the death.
