US Chairman Sunil Gulati is the first person to hug Prince Ali after he withdraws. Sad outcome for FIFA and sad for soccer.

Because they decided to award the World Cup to a country (Qatar) with 120 degree summer temps and horrible human rights records... So there's that.

Julia Louis Dreyfus and that McCarthy woman against Marlon Brando in a movie about yet another attempt to pretend professional sports in not a corrupt gambling racket.

You have to approve of it when these little tempests blow up and blow away so quickly though. The Mighty Wurlitzer hardly had time to get warmed up. Now we can go back to not knowing or caring who Seth Blatter is.

FIFA is filled with corrupt members all covering for each other. The entire organization needs a major overhaul. Doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon.
