Source: NBC San Diego

Several police officers have been called to the Oceanside home of former Chargers Pro Bowler Junior Seau.

Officers responded to a medical aid call at the home of the 43-year-old former Pro Bowler in the 600 block of South Strand Boulevard at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday.

According to officials at the North Community Fire Department no one was transported from the home.

Our media partners at the North County Times reports Seau has committed suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

but I'd never dismiss all the headshots and potential concussions. Some of these guys can get pretty messed up due to them.
