Trump Leads In First Post-Debate Poll Of New Hampshire
Source: TPM
Former reality television star Donald Trump topped the crowded Republican field in the first post-debate poll in New Hampshire.
The Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll released Tuesday put Trump at the top of the Republican scrum with 18 percent of likely primary voters.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was his closest competitor in the early primary state at 13 percent. Ohio Gov. John Kasich polled at 12 percent while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (10 percent) and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Fiorina (9 percent) continued to make gains after impressive performances in last week's debates.
But Trump's favorability ratings continued to be lower than most. In fact, Kasich, along with former neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Cruz, Fiorina, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker all polled more favorably than Trump.
